| | | Why is it when I try to open L3P.exe it just appears for a brief second and then turns off? Does it have anything to do with Windows 2000? BTW I use L3Lab to generate my POV files, is there any way to incorporate L3PAO to use L3Lab to generate the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | | (...) L3P is a command-line DOS program, so you have to run it from MS-DOS Prompt. However, L3PAO is a Windows program, so you won't need to type any command lines for it. (...) Not that I know of, but it shouldn't be too difficult to set up L3PAO (...) (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

No parameters => nothing to do, so exit. If you *are* giving the (...) (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | | Also you need to know that as a DOS executable,L3P requires that a DOS environment variable be set so it can find the parts library. This can be added to your autoexec.bat. Check the documentation. Mine looks like this: set LDRAWDIR=C:\ldraw (...) (24 years ago, 19-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)

| | | | (...) to (...) should be no problem with the command line stuff. The only thing I can think of is that the set LDRAWDIR=(wherever ldraw is located) doesn't work. I put it in the autoexec, but still, l3p just shows the "help" message, or the commands (...) (24 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)
