L3P is a DOS program. You must run it by typing L 3 P Enter in a DOS window.
You should NOT put it into AUTOEXEC.BAT.
However, it it convenient to put the "set LDRAWDIR=(wherever ldraw is located)" there,
it saves you typing it in the DOS window before typing L 3 P.
If you still have problems, I can dig out some detailed explanations
I have mailed to several in the past.
And L3PAO can NOT use L3Lab.

| (...) to (...) should be no problem with the command line stuff. The only thing I can think of is that the set LDRAWDIR=(wherever ldraw is located) doesn't work. I put it in the autoexec, but still, l3p just shows the "help" message, or the commands (...) (25 years ago, 21-Apr-00, to lugnet.cad)
