What does everyone think about using scaling to bring some models (esp. large
buildings) into scale with the rest of Datville?

As I see it, the benefit is that we can make use of, and show off, those
buildings (such as Anders' rendition of his own house) which are too large
scale otherwise.

The downside is that a scaled building won't fit perfectly with its
surroundings, and will reduce the "reality factor" of Datsville being a town
you could build if only you had the right pieces.

Re: Scaling Buildings in Datville  [DAT]

I obviously wasn't clear enough in my original post. By "scaling" buildings, I mean using buildings that would otherwise be too large for Datsville, but down-scaling them in the town.dat file, i.e.: 1 16 540 0 -800 0 0 0.50 0 0.50 0 -0.50 0 0 (...) (25 years ago, 10-Sep-99, to lugnet.cad)
