Yeah, what Jacob said.

If, in the future, Datville will be accessable via VRML, the discrepancy
would be noticable right away as the viewer zooms down the screet.  I think
it would be distracting.  Better to keep what we can at scale from the
beginning.

Plus, you're going to have minifigs walking on the street, right?  :-,  I
think this would be cool, but it would draw out scale differences very
quickly.
