I think I've finally finished this long-promised T-16 (Snowspeeder alternate
model). This is actually the third version. The first succumbed to the
forces of the dark side (my kids got hold of it before I could LDraw). The
second I finished before finding a SW encyclopedia which mentioned that the
T-16 carries a pilot and a passenger--mine had room only for a pilot. So back
to the drawing board I went.
The LDraw .dat file is in the www.lugnet.cad.dat.models newsgroup, while POV
pics can be found at:

| (...) I like it! Very good piece economy. A pleasant buzz thru the Tattooine canyons. I gotta learn how to do those landscape generations. -Tom McD. when replying, set your spamcake to stun. (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.starwars)

| (...) Is the background a height_field? If so, what resolution image did you use? How did you generate the image? Are the clouds straight from the POV documentation, or did you change them somehow? --Bram (25 years ago, 24-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad)

| (...) cool, cool, cool, John! (...) i can definitely relate to the frustration of kids getting a hold of a model. i live in constant fear with projects until i get them safely recorded in ldraw. keep up your most excellent work with those star wars (...) | I really liked your designs on your web page. I built the B-wing and changed the cockpit connector with a peice from a droid fighter. Much more stable. I was wondering where you got the cad program that let you draw your schematics. Very interested. (...) (25 years ago, 29-Aug-99, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.starwars)
