LDConfig.ldr is still too hard to find IMO —Tore Eriksson
In order to straighten out the mess I've caused among my many versions of LDConfig.ldr, I needed to download the latest official version from LDraw.org. Even though it is possible to find it, it is still anything but easy! First I tried Downloads (...) (13 years ago, 7-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Updates to ldconfig.ldr are distributed with parts updates. As such the latest version is always in the complete zip ((URL) in the complete windows install file, and if it changes, in the incremental update (e.g. (URL) (13 years ago, 7-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

(...) I'm curious why you didn't just add a link yourself. That's what I just did and now it is there. Why wait for someone else to do it for you if you feel so strongly about the problem? Tim --snip-- (...) (13 years ago, 8-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDConfig.ldr is still too hard to find IMO —Tore Eriksson
(...) Thanks, Tim! Simply because: 1. I didn't know that I have the authority/admin rights to do that. 2. I don't have the slightest idea how to do that. /Tore (13 years ago, 8-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDConfig.ldr is still too hard to find IMO —Timothy Gould
(...) You're welcome. Fair enough. Yes you can add things. There should be some form of 'add download' but I'm sure it's hidden thanks by the CMS. A webmaster has to approve them which usually happens fairly quickly (or even quicker with an email). (...) (13 years ago, 10-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDConfig.ldr is still too hard to find IMO —Tore Eriksson
(...) No, I don't think so. The version from March is both in complete.zip and was what I downloaded from the direct link before starting this thread. I've spent a couple of hours working with that March version as basis since yesterday, believing (...) (13 years ago, 8-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDConfig.ldr is still too hard to find IMO —Scott Wardlaw
(...) Um, yeah, that would be me. The March version is missing the three new colors that TLG provided to us earlier in 2010. I thought that the July update was there on the website when I clicked on the link yesterday before Tim's post. Regardless, (...) (13 years ago, 8-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDConfig.ldr is still too hard to find IMO —Tore Eriksson
     (...) Ouch! I only found two new colors - or did I forget the remark "// UPDATE 2010-06-19" on one? Tore's Colour List - By Number Based on the official LDConfig.ldr (LDraw.org's UPDATE 2010-06-19) 0 Black #212121 (26 Black) 1 Blue #0033B2 (23 (...) (13 years ago, 8-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDConfig.ldr is still too hard to find IMO —Timothy Gould
(...) Nope. I didn't add or edit anything, I simply linked to the file Tore linked to. If you have a permanent link to the latest version on your own website I will use that. Does the above count? And as I just wrote to Tore you can add things (...) (13 years ago, 10-Jan-11, to lugnet.cad)
