  Deep Space 9

Deep Space 9 is the space station where the Star Trek series DS9 is located. I started creating this MOC of the station way back in July 2002. This being the 4th revision, I think is now ready. You can find photo's on Brickshelf of old versions and (...) (15 years ago, 6-Jan-10, to lugnet.build, lugnet.cad)

DATHeader Update (The Reviewer Tool) Version 3.0.3

I have just uploaded the current version of DATHeader. Now the colour names that are shown to you in DATHeader can be localised. Also two new checks are integrated for scaling of primitives.   Re: Convert LDR file that has many LDR files within it to a single LDR file

Some clarification MPD is great but the way I do my models is I have 1 main LDR file. Then I break parts into other LDR files. While In the main LDR file I add a part but browse to LDR model I all ready created. In doing this I may have 8+ or more (...) (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Convert LDR file that has many LDR files within it to a single LDR file

(...) Steve's LDraw add-on has an inline function which allows you to choose which sub-models to inline. Note: I just "upgraded" to Windows 7, and some functions refuse to work, even after downloading comdlg32.ocx and richtx32.ocx. But the inliner (...) (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Pneumatics

(...) LPub has an MPD file to change orientation for parts in the PLIs. Maybe that's the way to go indeed. Jetro (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Pneumatics

(...) What we need for this is an file similar to LDraw.xml with the definition how a part should be rotatet to match the new origin. I also have thought about this problem a while ago. cu mikeheide and prosperious year 2010! (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Pneumatics

Hi Santeri, This is a very good idea! I have several models with pneumatics on my website, provided as mpd with embedded unofficial parts. By exploding them, you'll get both some old pneumatics parts and test models. (URL) I prepared an MPD that (...) (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Pneumatics

(...) To be honest, I only thought of that about ten minutes ago when I was taking a shower.. but I still feel I should make some kind of app that fixes the references. -Santeri (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Pneumatics

(...) Maybe there is an easier way. Would it be possible to have display those files using some option that forces the use of older/unofficial parts? After doing that and with the model now complete the old parts should be included using MPDWizard - (...) (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Convert LDR file that has many LDR files within it to a single LDR file

(...) Yes, that would be helpful. I had the need recently and solved it with MLCad (File -> export [ldraw normal] -> range=last step in main model). But it is error prone and not very convenient. Philo (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Convert LDR file that has many LDR files within it to a single LDR file

(...) I have an old plugin I wrote to inline a model down to parts only (i.e. no submodels). It's not compatible now but I can dust it off and release again if you'd like. (15 years ago, 31-Dec-09, to lugnet.cad)
