Some clarification
MPD is great but the way I do my models is I have 1 main LDR file. Then I break
parts into other LDR files.
While In the main LDR file I add a part but browse to LDR model I all ready
created. In doing this I may have 8+ or more MLCad programs running at once,
each with their own LDR model. I then use LDview to view all the changes I make
as I do them. Works real good when you start using crazy angles, cause only the
main LDR file needs to now this part or LDR sub model is at this angle. But
when I go to that LDR sub model everything is still horizontal and makes for
adding parts easy.
Orion: yours sounds like it may be what I had used; do you remember the files
name of the program? Then I can search my backups to see if I still have it. It
should still work for what I need.
DeVona: Does not look like what I used in the past from the screen shots, but I
will see if this works.
But no matter what a good solution for MPD and even my needs could be a very
valuable tool for MLCad and LDraw. As LDD does not import MPD or sub models. A
tool the user can first modify their LDR files before LDD import would be a tool
in need for the future.
An MLCad F5 or reload would also be nice, Currently I have to close MLCad and
then reopen the file to see any changes.
Thanks for the replies
