  Re: LPub Issue

Thanks to all of Kevin's help I finally have my first fairly decent set of instructions for one of my MOC's. This was a lot of work but hopefully it means the next time I do this it won't take nearly as long. (URL) -Eric (19 years ago, 3-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LPub Issue

(...) Kevin, This was just want I needed to get past this problem. I had found the extra Step issue already. This is much closer to what I want but I need to get it formated right. At the moment the Callout is either overlaping most of the assembled (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LPub Issue

(...) <snip> (...) LDraw files don't do to well in FTX, so I'm reposting. LPub 4.0 currently renders the building instructions for that submodel twice. It is not smart enough to see the two in the same step and merge them together. I've found that (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LPub Issue

(...) Hi Eric, Sorry you are having trouble with LPub. I hope you are using 2.4, it is your best choice. I know you were patient in creating this post, and I appreciate that, but it would really help if you provided snippets of the LDraw file, (...) (19 years ago, 3-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  LPub Issue

I am a long time user of LDraw, MLCad, and POV but have just started trying to get LPub to work. I am almost there except I can't seem to be able to fix one issue. I have a submodel that I use twice in the main model. It seems that part of LPub is (...) (19 years ago, 2-Apr-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: New primitives?

(...) Andrew you are completely right. I was kind of obsessed by the missing triangle so I didn't thought well... I'm a little bit less convinced by the tang primitive that need several adaptation triangles (is it really better than to match (...) (19 years ago, 31-Mar-08, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New primitives?

(...) I wasn't aware of the tang primitive, and I had forgotten about the chrd primitive. Going from the chrd primitive to the proposed truncated disc requires the addition of one triangle, and the total number of triangles after adding that one is (...)   Re: New primitives?

(...) There are already circle chord and tangent primitives on the parts tracker. You would just need to add a couple of triangles to get the ones you're proposing. See: (2 URLs) (19 years ago, 30-Mar-08, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: New primitives?

(...) Mathematics to use 1-8tdisk is easy, divide the width by 0.707 and height by 0.293 (1-(sqrt(2)/2) to get size of the tdisk. Move the center accordingly. Yes I have used that trick several times, using regular disc/ndis primitives, inlining (...) (19 years ago, 27-Mar-08, to lugnet.cad)
