Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Steve Bliss
I'm downloading it now (slowly, slowly). Just tell me that the wood3.dat lives on, somewhere. That one is such a sweet little model. BTW, the heading text for the source code link needs to be updated. It specifies the source-code as MS-VC++ 5.0. (...) (26 years ago, 8-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Paul Gyugyi
(...) The woodpecker lives on, now called wood4.dat and available from the ldlite page. I had to change the model, since I changed the color names in 1.6. (...) You're using -t and -p at the same time? Oh, you wackey users! :) (...) Oops. Sorry (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Steve Bliss
(...) It works quite well, it's just the compound viewing angles make it look weird. (...) Is there any reliable way for LDAO to determine if LDLite is finished rendering? [Snipped stuff about LDLite displaying 'Untitled' in the window caption, and (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Ben Vaughan
(...) Paul, Really like the new version! Especially since it fixes the problems I was having creating the VEC catalog. Thanks! I'm looking forward to using this! !!!! (Just cause I don't think I used quite enough. 8) Ben. (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Jeff Boen
(...) i know it's gotta be annoying just releasing a new version and having someone immediately make a suggestion... and maybe it's just that i'm overlooking something... but it doesn't appear that LDLite supports F5 refresh... i know i can turn on (...)          Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Paul Gyugyi
That is a good suggestion. I'll put it on the list. To refresh, I go to the File menu and select the file in the recent files section. (Alt-F-1). -gyug BTW, it would be much more annoying to release a new version and not have anyone make a (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Terry Keller
(...) Cool, cool. The little scroll buttons for the scale in the View dialog is a good idea, but the left buttons control the right-of-decimal number and right buttons control the left-of-decimal number. ? Seems odd, or is this supposed to be that (...) (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

(...) way? (...) hmmm.. in fact, gyug... if you're going to use dual spinners like this (which i really dig the idea of, btw).. it might be a bit more clear if you have the spinners that control numbers left of the decimal actually placed on the (...)         Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Jonathan Wilson
i have a suggestion for ldlite. could you please change the color that would go into the trans-light red (#44) back to the ldraw/ledit color? several people have been using it as the ice planet 2002 trans orange texture. (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Steve Bliss
(...) Better yet, use a more correct RGB for trans-orange. Jonathan: you can redefine the color in your models to look the way you want. Steve (26 years ago, 9-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)

Re: ANN: LDLite 1.6 Released —Steve Bliss
(...) It looked good to me. But I'm not really a color expert. My eye isn't sensitive enough, I guess. Steve (26 years ago, 10-Mar-99, to lugnet.cad)
