OK, using your example as a guide, I finished off the part. First cut is at

I did notice, though, that using LDview, there is a definite line where the
studs join the cylinders. I tried rotating the studs by 22.5 degrees to match,
but the line remained. It only becomes visible at fairly high zoom, and at
certain angles, so I figure it's acceptable. It also looks fine in MLcad (to my
eyes) even when transparent. Comments?

| (...) I think I missed what you meant earlier. I would not inline the stud for that, Unless it was a major piece of the part. which this is not. (...) Ok, I see it now. My laptop screen was not showing me enough detail. See my example below. I used (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad)
