Re: How to get L3P coordinates

(...) Guess I'll just have to do that on a PC sometimes then... (...) Sure. I'd already sent a mail to Travis and he's looking into it; but if you get an idea, I suppose he wouldn't frown at your intervention either. Unfortunately there isn't much (...)   Re: How to get L3P coordinates

(...) I'd try and get LDview working because it should be able to do this. But if for some reason you can't get it to work, you could try ldglite as a last resort. (URL) I think you have to launch it from the command line, so only go there if you're (...) (17 years ago, 21-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: How to get L3P coordinates

(...) Yep, LDView can do this for you. After you open a model and position the view as you would like, select "Show POV-Ray Camera Info" from the "Tools" menu. A dialog containing coordinates you can copy will appear. Can you describe more about how (...) (17 years ago, 21-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

  How to get L3P coordinates

Hi, I'm trying to use LDraw a bit more and I've got to the point where I don't mind sending submissions to the MOTM contest (Willy sounds like he wants some). However, the rules allow for additional camera locations, in L3P coordinates format. Now, (...) (17 years ago, 21-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

Re: Complete Install on Windows Vista

(...) Could you tell us which version of POV-Ray worked under VISTA? The next ALL IN ONE INSTALLER may end up having to be "2 flavors" one just for VISTA and one for "Pre-VISTA" from the feedback I have been slowly getting back at the LDraw Help (...)   Re: Missing primitives after part update.

(...) It sounds like you've ended up with files in the wrong folders, and it doesn't matter how many times you run the Scan command, since MLCad has no idea which files should be where. It just assumes you placed them correctly, and updates its own (...) (17 years ago, 20-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Re: Missing primitives after part update.

(...) It sounds like maybe the LDraw directory you have selected in MLCad isn't your real LDraw directory. Go into MLCad and check where it thinks the LDraw directory is (Settings->General->......->LDraw base path). If that differs from where you (...)   Re: Missing primitives after part update.

(...) Thanks Travis. I tried your first suggestion with no success. As for your second, I already have LDView. It seems like several people have had the same problem. What about uninstalling the whole LDraw package and then reinstalling? How do I go (...) (17 years ago, 20-Jun-07, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
