  Re: Suggested New Primitive: 4-4cyl12.dat

(...) L3P cannot substitute a primitive it doesn't know, but the above mentioned 4-4cyl12.dat will be treated like any ordinary DAT file, and then the 4-4cyli.dat and the 4-4disc.dat will get substituted (the edges are not used in L3P). I'm not sure (...) (18 years ago, 23-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Help with tyre - 51011

I'm hoping someone can help. I'm trying to get this part: (URL) in LeoCAD. I downloaded the main dat file, and the subfile to go with it. I have put them in ..\ldraw\parts and ..\ldraw\parts\s respectively. But LeoCAD seems to want to display the (...) (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: personal OMR

(...) Very nice! Only nag is that some models aren't downloadable and that you use some unofficial parts. Good work! Jeroen (18 years ago, 22-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)

Re: Automatic download of unofficial parts in LDView

(...) OK, I got it working. Feel free to delete the file whenever you want. So, do you plan to turn gzip support on for the ldraw.org server? It would make a really big difference for unofficial part downloads. --Travis (18 years ago, 20-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

(...) Hi, A very few days (hours) after I've posted this message, I've received the CAD-part-file in my mailbox. I just remember that the mail was quite anonymous, that I've answered the post to say thank. Again thank you, this LDraw community is (...) (18 years ago, 19-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

Re: Stereograms of my Space and Vignette MOCs

Something kind of weird... you can create a similar effect with two identical 3D objects. For example, take two identical pens, hold them so they converge towards you, and cross your eyes. If you adjust the angle of the pens, and the distance, and (...) (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.cad.ray, FTX)

Re: LDList stud count feature (Was: LSC - current status?)

(...) Yes, and now I know what the problem was: the scan takes 56 minutes on my computer, with no sign of life from LDList, so I assumed that LDList must have had crashed. But of course, it takes some time to count the studs from some 5 000 files. (...) (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Automatic download of unofficial parts in LDView

Re: LDList stud count feature (Was: LSC - current status?)

Do you have the latest version? 'Search by stud count' wasn't there until 4.0 (I think). Check the version in the caption bar (top of the window). Get 4.1 from: (URL) installing, you must also do a 'Scan' again, to rebuild the index. (18 years ago, 18-May-06, to lugnet.cad.dev)
