  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) You can do that as well, when you are saving the model in LDD just add .ldr to the end of the model name and it will export as an ldraw file instead of saving in lxf. -- Marc Sutton Lead Programmer LEGO Digital Designer (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) This is great (and surprising) news and I'd like to help ensure that LDD and LDraw continue to be able to inter-operate. I won't be able to install the new version of LDD until the weekend, but am excited by the prospect. Chris Dee (speaking (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) If you want to buy your model after conversion you can change it to use the My Trains set: Open the palette dialog (next to the brick dialog - click on the button with the downwards arrow). Now click on the My Trains palette to add it to the (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) I must have been reading this wrong, because I was looking for something that would send my LDD .lxf file to LDraw/MLCAD, not import an LDraw file into LDD. But this is cool too, and it works: (URL) Well look at that. Almost whole. He just (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) Excellent! I ran into a few issues, but for the most part, it seems to work! Will definitely make it easier to design models being able to switch between formats. Now if only there were some way to mark which parts are actually available for (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) Just drop your ldraw models into your "My Documents/LEGO Creations/Models" directory and then open LDD and click on the model in the open dialog (it will have a yellow brick as an icon). To export them append .ldr to the model when saving the (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) It certainly claims to. However, if so, it's really well hidden. Anybody else figure out how to access this? There a DLL file in the install directory named lddtabulatranslatorldraw.dll. Interestingly enough, the version info lists the (...) (18 years ago, 9-May-06, to lugnet.general, lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: Bricksmith 1.4: Intel and More

This may appear twice, I tried posting it using email authentication, but that does not appear to have worked. - Erik (...)   Re: LEGO Factory Updated

(...) Actually even if you did have a 16MB video card, LDD still wouldn't run on it. The system requirements say 16MB, but LDD requires more. I've always found this ironic since LEGO Creator was so much more advanced that LDD, and yet it could run (...) (18 years ago, 8-May-06, to lugnet.cad, FTX)
