Re: Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

(...) I think troubleshooting your problem would be easier if you sent me the POV file. -Orion (20 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

thanks again (...) I don't get any error messages. POV renders the scene with no problem it just doesn't pick up the LGEO colors. I have a file called LGEO in 3.5 directory, I have added the changes to the lg_color.inc file and colors inc and have (...) (20 years ago, 18-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

(...) <SNIP> (...) Thanks Jaco. I had been following the same line of research. Where LDraw has a 3-digit number and LDD now gives us a 4- or 5-digit version, I think we can treat that as "official" and rename in LDraw. Where there is a different 4- (...)   Re: technic figure

(...) Only partially. The arm, leg, and hips segments are done but the torso and head are not. If you want what's available check the Parts Tracker on LDraw.org. -Orion (20 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

  technic figure

Are the technic figures available for download in ldraw. Having a hard time finding the pieces. Unofficial ok. Steve (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

Renumbering parts! (was LEGOfactory and LDraw)

After some more research and thinking I found these parts too. They were (ofcourse) in the Excel file of Ildefonso! I should have thought of that before. 50950 Brick 1x3 with Bow (not yet in LDraw) 53480 Plate 8 x 8 with Road Straight (I made this (...)   Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

Hi all, Here is an update for the LEGO Facotry MLCad Favorites list. I have discoverd that some parts were double in the list. Some parts have a different LDraw number than the one LEGO uses. They are: 44237 = Brick 2 x 6 (=2456) 30367 = Cylinder 2 (...) (20 years ago, 16-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad, lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Problem creating .pov using LGEO parts in L3PAdd-on

I have tried this and also the fix on the ldraw page. LGEO files still don't work any suggestions? I don't get the error message. The pov just renders the standard method. Thanks for the help (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Help?-Odd problem

(...) Hi, This is my first visit to this newsgroup, so first of all - hello everyone, I'm dmac (Maciej Szymanski) from Poland and I'm really just a humble user of MLCad, not an expert on CAD matters. Secondly, please excuse me for going back to a (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: LEGOfactory and LDraw

(...) Better would be to say: not at all, without significant amount of work :-/ The parts in part library used in LDD have differently placed rotation points, center points and default position (when compared to LDraw parts). One would need to (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

(...) Actually, that could be a good thing. Each pallet *.lxf file is just an archive containing BRICK*.CHUNK part files. (The model *.lxf files are archives each containing a MODEL100.MODEL file.) If a converter is ever programmed, it could make (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: Minifig hair and hats

(...) How do you think most parts are made? On irregular parts, there's usually only so much measuring that can be done. In the end, (at least for me), things come down to eyeballing and a certain amount of adjusting things until they work. OTOH, if (...) (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Multi MPD scenes

(...) It would 'know' the Main for sub-MPDS the same way it knows the Main for the main-MPD - the first FILE block in the MPD file is the Main. Steve (20 years ago, 15-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Multi MPD scenes

(...) That is correct MLCad and every other program that I know of currenlty CANNOT use MPDs as sub-models. I think it is an issue with the MPD format itself. How whould MLCad know which MPD or LDR is the MAIN? -AHui LDraw Help Desk (URL) (20 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: LEGOfactory.com launches... and it's big!

Regardless, I was able to use it (relatively) (...) (20 years ago, 14-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dev, FTX)

  Re: Multi MPD scenes

  Mini-Figure Reindeer
