Hi, I just updated the MLCad.ini file accordingly to the latest LDraw.org parts update 2004-04. The .ini file defines the parts available in MLCad's minifigure generator. I have been playing around with MLCad with L3P and povray, and i have come accross a problem with POVray light sources in sub models. It appears as if they are not put in their submodels, but in their position in the main model. Can anyone confirm (...) (20 years ago, 8-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

That is the one! I did not find it, because it does not have the word "Pattern" in it! Should it? (...) L3P is not going to handle the mirrored studs in the next release, but maybe in the next again. It will require a fundamental restructuring of the program, because currently L3P does not walk the tree. Also support of LGEO parts is an even (...) (20 years ago, 7-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

The 2004-04 LDraw parts update has been now been released. This update includes 228 files, including 85 new part files, and many more updated with improvements for Back Face Culling support. You can preview the new parts in 2004-04 and download the (...) (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad) !!

(...) This is exactly why I consider mirrored studs to be a non-issue. This error manifests itself on only one program (L3P) and is able to be compensted for (LDView). I strongly suspect (although Lars will have to confirm) that the next version of (...) (20 years ago, 6-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

(...) Hi Jaco, nice render! One thing I would suggest to make it look better is a fudge - Where the pins don't line up properly, it is best to line them up with the part that is being viewed.
