  cylinders missing conditional lines?

When using the 2-4cyli primitive I noticed one conditional line missing, so I compared all different cyli primitives. Some have conditional lines at both ends, some have not. 1-4cyli: conditional lines at both ends 1-8cyli: conditional line at one (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

  Re: half size 3004

(...) Thanks. It's definitely a problem in LDView. It's caused by a known bug in LDView's handling of the Seam Width option. (It was brought to my attention maybe a month or so ago by another post.) There's nothing wrong with the part files. If you (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

Re: I want to become a reviewer

(...) Since stud logos are not part of the DAT format, the fact that they are rotated or mirrored is not a problem with a part. That said, since most users like to use the stud logo option for some renders, if problems with the stud logos are (...) (20 years ago, 4-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

Re: I want to become a reviewer

(...) How imported is the orrientation of the studlogos? Should these face exactly the same direction as the real part? Or do they just have to be readable (thus not mirrored) and all studlogos on one part face the same direction (unless the real (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad, FTX)

  Re: Ghost bug in 3.11

(...) The thing is, that STEP and ROTSTEP are implicitly ghosted for a given sub-model used in a model. When you are generating images for the sub-model itself, STEP and ROTSTEP have meaning and affect the generated images. When you add the (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Ghost bug in 3.11

(...) I cool with that. It's a whole lot easier for me to make ldglite behave well as a unseen simple renderer, and let LPub handle all the tricky instruction formating macros. The only reason I can see for me to add internal ldglite support for all (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Ghost bug in 3.11

(...) I'm a bit lost here. Are you talking about using ldglite to render image files, or render interactively? I ask because -mf and -mF ignore all STEP commands, but only for the non-interactive image file generating usage. There is a -D command (...)   half size 3004

Does anyone know what would cause part 3004 (1 x 2 x 1 brick) to appear half size in LDView? This only appears to affect this part in this model in LDView only. You can see a sample at: (URL) Dean Earley (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Ghost bug in 3.11

(...) Didn't try those, though I doubt they'd make it ignore CLEAR. (...) Sounds good to me. (...) I'm not sure I follow why ghosting these would be a bad idea. Since ghosting is only supposed to hide something if it's not the main model, ghosting (...) (20 years ago, 3-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

  Re: Ghost bug in 3.11

(...) Did you use 1.1.5 and the -mf or -mF options? I know these options make ldglite ignore STEP. The step dats that LPub makes do have STEP and ROTSTEP, but eliminate buffer exchage and clear and such, before passing the step dat to ldglite. (...) (...) Hi all, I'm Andrea G. ((URL) from Italy. For a long time I observe yours rendering...is fantastic! I would want to try with a file of BIGFOOT II, do you can teach me? I also use POV-Ray for the rendering but they are not realistic as yours. I am (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Ghost bug in 3.11

I discovered when rendering with ldglite that it doesn't ignore commands like 0 CLEAR and 0 STEP in submodels even when MLCad does. (Odd, considering it does recognize submodels.) Hopefully the next version of LPub will eliminate that problem by (...) (20 years ago, 2-Nov-04, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

(URL) What? 15 Dollarz? hahahahaha, great fun. Should've used some more light sources and a few minifigs, but had to render this quick and dirty.
