a simple idea for creating the bump effects on patterned slopes

how does this sound?: due to the fact that most patterned slopes arent in lgeo, maybe a pov code within the patterned parts to create the bump effect when exporting into povray. does this sound good? im guessing a good example would be using color (...)   Question about creating Cone 4 x 4 x 3 for LDraw

(...) I happened to get me a seccond hand trainset 725, including two of these cones. So I have started on creating this part for LDraw. By looking at the orientation of the stud and the inner details it seems that this part was creating 45 degrees (...) (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: "Minifig Fire Helmet Breathing Hose"(x171)

(...) I am sorry to tell you that this part is currently not appear in MLCAD or LDRAW, you might try to use other parts to replace just as that avitor goggles (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Povray boatwake

The rooster tail is great! The individual waves could be at a wider angle though. In safe boating classes they teach you that your wake spreads at about a 45 degree angle which you need to be aware of so that you don't "wake" vessels at anchor, on (...) (20 years ago, 29-May-04, to lugnet.cad)

  "Minifig Fire Helmet Breathing Hose"(x171)

Hi. Does anyone have a LDRAW DATA of below parts? ; (URL) I'm trying to model my special task force "BrickHound" on MLCAD, so I need above part-data to make them actable through the night. ; (URL) you would have/know unofficial data of this part, (...)   Re: License Intent

(...) Not a bad idea I guess. Not a bad idea at all. I'm comfortable with meanwhile making it clear by signature though. (basically, if a post is signed with all 5 of our names, it's official, else it's not) (20 years ago, 29-May-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: License Intent

(...) Maybe there's a need for a Lugnet user "LDraw.org SteerCo" so members of the SteerCo don't have to continue posting such disclaimers. Maybe limit posting range to CAD tree (maybe even ldraw tree?) and maybe announce. ROSCO (Added (...) (20 years ago, 29-May-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: LDRAW Updates: Documentation Plan

(...) Cool. Paul, I did get your mail with a suggestion, did you receive my reply? I'd like to talk to you about what areas you see lacking in documentation. One of the things I'd like to do is get back to the get started docs and revise them and (...) (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.cad)

  LDRAW Updates: Documentation Plan

(...) Thanks, Steve. I use MLCAD, so I'll run that routine. If folks who know of post-update processing requirements acn send them to me, I'll create and contribute a generic instruction document. Paul Sinasohn LUGNET #115 BAYLUG/BAYLTC (20 years ago, 28-May-04, to lugnet.cad)

What follows is my personal reply not offical position of SteerCo. (...) I agree. We missed this goal, and it is indeed important. (...) True. And sort of false.   Re: License Intent
