  Warning: no objects in scene

I just ran a file through L3P (with the -lgeo option) and tried to render it in POV-Ray 3.5, but all it does is give me a solid black image. The messages contain a line saying, "Warning: no objects in scene." Nothing I do seems to change the (...) (20 years ago, 21-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Re: Review notes on wheels x242.dat

(...) I have wheels of that type with both silver and gold (brass) axles. Should we have another part with gold axle colour? ROSCO (20 years ago, 21-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Review notes on wheels x242.dat

Since I can't reply on the PT to review notes, I'll reply here. First of all, about part x242 "~Wheel Spoked for Metal Pin" (...) What exactly do you mean? I based the axle hole of this wheel mostly on the existing wheel 7039.dat since both wheels (...) (20 years ago, 21-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: New LDraw contest?

(...) Because of the complex nature of creating animations, the contest may want to allow contestants and/or winners to share details about their creation process. This could also be tied to tutorials hosted on LDraw.org, and be used to encourage (...) (20 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Snatch it?

(...) I missed the doors. I've now uploaded 30073, 30073p01, 30073p02, 30074p01, and 30074p02. I'm sure it won't take long for someone to make s30073s01, put the one stud (to rule them all) in each file, and BFC the lot. Steve (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, FTX)

  Re: Ldraw to Anton's lib

(...) Why don't you get Orion to make a directory for it in the CVS archive for his ldrawpov sourceforge project? (URL) way everyone can see it, and perhaps someone will get motivated and finish it. Don (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Snatch it?

(...) The files have been posted to the PT. I uploaded 5 parts, 1 sticker-part, and a couple of subfiles. I did not upload GONTA's version of 4696.dat, although it 'looks better' than Marc Klein's -- I don't have a real example of that part handy, (...)   Re: Ldraw to Anton's lib

(...) You can use L3P to generate POVRAY files, and you can use those files in combination with Anton's library. It's also possible to go the other way - use Anton's library of parts with models created in LDraw. I did some work on this awhile ago, (...) (21 years ago, 20-Apr-04, to lugnet.cad)
