  Re: LDD Introductions

(...) Hi Chuck, The problem with corrupt or missing thumbnails is a known issue on GeForce2GTS and GeForce256 cards, and possibly some others. It will be fixed in the final release but here's a workround in the meantime: Edit C:\Program Files\LEGO (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.lego.direct, FTX)

  Orientation of single train buffers

I am about to create the single train buffers into LDraw. What orientation shall I use, e.g. where to put the buffer: * -X (left) * +X (right) * -Z (front) * +Z (rear) I thought about putting the origin between the two studs. Niels (21 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

  Re: LDGLite Linux install question

(...) I installed it per the instructions on the LDraw website, so I guess I built it myself. (...) I'll try that when I get a free moment. I was kinda hopeing that this problem was a problem with my Linux install and not hardware. Oh well... Thanks (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDGLite Linux install question

(...) More searching reveals some tantalizing hints, but nothing concrete. Setting MESA_NO_SSE=1 is mentioned, but I'm not clear if it's an environment variable, or a compiler option. By the way, did you build MESA yourself, or was it installed by a (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDGLite Linux install question

(...) Hmmm, a quick google search seems to indicate you're not the first person to encounter this problem. (URL) appears to be a problem with MESA hardware opengl support and the ATI Mobility chipset. I'll have to muck around a bit more with google (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Just tryed it. Typed .dat after the file name and select the .dat save as type. And it worked. I thought i had to just select save as type as .dat. Thanks (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.leocad)

  LDDesignPad Feature Suggestion

(...) Hey, since ldlist and LDDP are both Delphi apps, wouldn't it be nice if LDDP had support for drag and drop from ldlist? And then, maybe a linux port of ldlist could be included as part of the linux port of LDDP. Would that be cool, or what? (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: LeoCAD wont save as .dat file.

(...) That's weird, I just tested and it works correctly for me. Are you typing the .dat extension? Leonardo (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.leocad)
