(...) Hi Chuck, The problem with corrupt or missing thumbnails is a known issue on GeForce2GTS and GeForce256 cards, and possibly some others. I am about to create the single train buffers into LDraw. What orientation shall I use, e.g. where to put the buffer: * -X (left) * +X (right) * -Z (front) * +Z (rear) I thought about putting the origin between the two studs. Niels (21 years ago, 17-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.trains)

(...) Hmmm, a quick google search seems to indicate you're not the first person to encounter this problem. (URL) appears to be a problem with MESA hardware opengl support and the ATI Mobility chipset. I'll have to muck around a bit more with google (...) (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Just tryed it. Typed .dat after the file name and select the .dat save as type. And it worked. I thought i had to just select save as type as .dat. Thanks (21 years ago, 16-Jun-03, to lugnet.cad.leocad)
