(...) That's because LDView only smooths files that it thinks are parts. You can convince LDView that it is a part either by puting it in the parts directory, or including a directive such as "0 Unofficial Part" as a line in the file. Presumably, (...) (...) I'm pretty sure I've run it without the X libraries around, but I don't think I ever linked it without them.
