Update on MLCad.ini (Was Re: MLCAD 3 is the fire.)

(...) Howdy. I should now declare since then, I have worked out a few new minifig items to place into the .ini file for the Minifig Generator. Since my last post, I have fine tuned additions for all of the handheld Space weapons available, including (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: Background color controls for constr and part list images

Hi Jennifer, I started on a new meta-command in LPub to address these concerns (because my head is still spinning from the whole extension topic.) I'm introducing a new meta-command: 0 LPUB CALLOUT BEGIN (parameters) 0 LPUB CALLOUT END It is intened (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Monorial curves

I saw that the monorail staight tracks were added to the official parts. Is anyone working on the curves? (I'm dying to make an animation of a monorail going around the track) Thanks! Jimmy (22 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: LPub extendability

(...) I want to put no limitations on what people contribute to LPub, because I could use the help. I originally imagined that the "LPub extension" stuff would simply be GUI free, behind the scenes code that would make LPub deviate from its normal (...)   Re: Monkeypede

You can blame MSIE and its crappy file handling here. Some parts of MSIE will use the MIME type from the server (application/x-ldraw or whatever) and some parts will use the filename. Unfortunatly, IE seems not to handle content-disposition (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models, lugnet.admin.general)

  Re: Monkeypede

(...) Well, it's a LUGNET problem even if it's an MSIE bug, right? :-) I think there's another thing we can try. I remember reading once that MSIE in its infinite wisdom sometimes ignores MIME types and gleans the file type from the extension in the (...)   Re: Monkeypede

(...) Ok. MSIE 5.0 still tells me I'm attempting to open the file "ldraw.cgi." I'm trying this on two computers. The second computer, which doesn't have file associations configured for LDraw stuff, asks me what program to open the file in. I select (...)   Re: Monkeypede

(...) I think you're pretty close. The server isn't actually reporting 'ldraw.cgi' anywhere -- that's just the script name in the URL. If the content contains a '0 Name' line, then the name that's found on the line is the name that's now returned in the Content-disposition header of the HTTP response. Otherwise it defaults to the old way, which is (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Quick followup with more notes: I have MLCad set to be my default program to load LDraw files. It works just fine with opening files on my hard drive, but it will fail to open the file when LUGNET passes it 'ldraw.cgi.' Is this an MLCad problem? (I (...) Todd - This is an old topic, and I came across it cause I was browsing for models posted on the groups. It brings up a concern of mine - the CAD DAT groups and file associations/extensions in Windows. I'm a bit rusty on MIME-types in Win2K, cause I (...)
