Re: Wrong parts listed on Peeron for Model #6390-1 Main Street?

Ok, it turns out I wasn't imagining things. 3855.DAT, Glass window 1 x 4 x 3 is either modelled incorrectly or the part being used for the glass pains in the 6390 Main Street kit is listed incorrectly at peeron.com. If it's the same part being used (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Lego colors compared to PANTONE (TM) or HKS

I just picked up on this thread. I had no idea people ever looked at my color table! That kinda made my day :). Do we have any physics grad students or pro light/paint people on this list that can use a spectrumeter? Is there a pantone spectrumeter? (...) (...) I do not believe there are. I made an unofficial part for generating black string. It's not very high fidelity but worked for me. I could post it if there was interest. (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  String and Rope

Are there official parts for use in generating string and rope segments? I couldn't seem to find anything even after searching through all the descriptions. (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Random bricks

Hmm, make it so? I mean, this (URL) is not realistic. Bricks are inside each other, but I guess that does not matter.   Random bricks

Hi all, I just had a thought. Would it be possible to make a little tool that generates an LDraw file with random placed bricks? Hi, I am no train person but this is some amazing stuff! Beautiful renderings from Jeroen and supurb model and photo's. Steve, I agree with your opinion. I am one of the people that have the 8448 modeled and do not mind one bit when I have to re-position a part so that it's orientation is more sensible. It's a small price to pay for the over all good for the entire (...) (22 years ago, 7-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Hi Rob - I suggest you just export the POV file from L3PAO, and open it in POV 3.5 manually, instead of trying to render from L3PAO. Doing that works just fine for me. You may want to tweak a few things in the POV code, and may need to set your (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-03, to lugnet.cad.ray)
