  Re: Aspect ratio (via L3P)

Well, Multiple lights would be cool :) But I think this would be just as easy adding yourself via a include file (in that case turning off the default light would be nice too). So I have to agree with sproaticus an option to include a file would be (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: Aspect ratio (via L3P)

(...) Since you mention it... Can you make l3p follow the references to light.dat in subfiles? For instance, if I have a file torch.dat (with light.dat included) used a dozen times in the file castle.mpd, have it include all twelve lights in their (...)   Re: Part Voting Issue

(...) Sounds good to me. If someone does hack it, we need to get it reported. Then we can disable it for awhile. Paul (22 years ago, 28-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  We should create a 973c01.dat

I notice that there is a complete shortcut for the various patterned legs but there isnt one for the plain legs. This should be rectified, so that a part 973c01 is created. If nothing else, it would allow Peeron to finally get rid of that picture of (...) (22 years ago, 28-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Minifig torso (Space Police 2)

(...) That's good too. Let's go with p69 and p6a. Chris (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Part Voting Issue

(...) Yes, we would not display the destination email address, just the destination Parts Tracker userid. Good idea on the fixed subject line. Although it wouldn't be hard to hack the form, if the locking is just enforced by the HTML code. Steve (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Minifig torso (Space Police 2)

(...) Chris, How about we move the existing unofficial pieces to p69 and p6a? A number of p5x pattern codes have been used on other standard-pattern parts (like p54 is used already for a 3x2 slope). Plus, the 'space minifig face with brown hair and (...) (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: Minifig torso (Space Police 2)

(...) Thomas, please use 973p53 and 973p54 for these two torsos, as these Pxx numbers are available for torsos and have already been used for Space Police Patterns. Regards, Chris (22 years ago, 27-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Part Voting Issue

(...) I'd definitely want the destination address locked, probably not even displayed (just the name / user code), and a fixed subject line, too eg "Review of part xxxx", to disuade people from using it for anything other than PT email. ROSCO (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: Mars Attacks!  [DAT]

I've made some (minor) modifications to the inner structure, resulting in much less "slackness". Also, the "Gasganno" face has been encoded now, so I updated that as well. I don't have any new images, yet. Sorry. Please LMK WYT. ;-) Thanks, Franklin (...) (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: Yet another POV-Ray inlining question

(...) You need to remove the 0's in front of the ldraw statements, and include a 0 L3P ENDPOV at the end. L3P does the rest. See my example I posted a long time ago: (URL) (22 years ago, 26-Jun-02, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: are you sure?

(...) This would work, but isn't it a little bit strange? I think you should make only the 2nd subpart for the gold surfaces.
