Re: New LDR file Version and L3P Add On

Ahui & All, (...) I see. I didn't check what version I was running, but I didn't download the newest version because it did not say that it can process the ldr files on the Ldraw.org site. Might be a good idea to have that there. Thanks for your (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Online Mac instructions.

(...) Yeah, but it is the ONLY editor we Mac users have. So it is the best and most popular Mac ldraw app. I know what you mean, you don't want us to think that it is the ultimate. It is just that we can't even put up a "getting started" page if (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.mac)

New LDR file Version and L3P Add On

To All, I installed the newer version of MLCAD that supports the new extension, which is fine, but I cannot get L3P Add On to work to render it into POV-RAY. Is there an update for that, or do I need to approach it another way? I searched here and (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDAO Editor Error & Crash

(...) Hmm. I'm guessing it's coming across something it doesn't like in the ldraw.ini file. You could try temporarily renaming this file, then trying to access Options | View Settings. Just to see if that lets you in. I seem to remember that this (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  [Parts Tracker] Duplo Stud Primitives

Part Reviewers: There are 12 new DUPLO part files on the PT, ready for release. However, all of these files depend on the new primitives stud7 and stud8. In order for the stud files to be released, their fast-draw companion files, stu27.dat and (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: Two questions on primitives

(...) There's no 1-16cyli.dat primitive because it hasn't been needed/asked for. The general approach is to not introduce primitives until they're needed. Steve (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts, lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)

Why aren't the technic gear teeth primitives?

I was thinking that the teeth for the old technic gears (3647-1649) and the beveled ones (32270 and 32296) should be made into primitives. I tried editing the 3648 part in ldraw, but the file was too big to even load! (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts.primitives)
