  Main Page Update

Added a couple new news items - a mention of LCD and a BricksWest update. Check it out: (URL) soon I'll throw a new poll up. Any suggestions for questions? -Tim (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Limits on participation in MOTM/SOTM? (Was: ldraw.org MOTM & SOTM Winners for January 2002)

(...) I disagree! The objective with MOTM and SOTM is to show off the best LEGO renderings (preferably with LDraw based tools, I suppose) we can make. The only kind of "limit" I can imagine is that you have to put together a description of _how_ you (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

"Ross Crawford" <rcrawford@csi.com> wrote in message news:GqzAus.MIE@lugnet.com... (...) No prob! (...) Hmmm... I don't see that on mine, but what I do see is the 'View Polls Page' link is VERY tiny, unreadably small on my IE5.0 for Windows. The (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: New Part: 168135a.dat - Sticker Technic Supercar 4x4x4 Logo  [DAT]

I made some modification: 1. Changed the filename as Steve suggested. 2. Reduced the thickness (thinness? :-))of the thin box to 0.25 LDU as Bernd Broich suggested. In L3Lab it did'nt cause any bleed-through. 3. Included a placeholder in the part (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

Re: ldraw.org MOTM & SOTM Winners for January 2002

(...) I thank you for coming to my defense. Yes, the two dragons are different. In fact, they are very different when you have them up close. However I will admit that from a distance, as they are in the pictures I sent in for MOTM, they do appear (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

3D applet of my ISCC entry

Thanks to Chuck Sommerville and Helmut Dersch, I was inspired to do a couple of 3D renderings of my ISCC entry. Links are on the second page of the site: (URL) two images with borders link to renderings of the main temple and and the hidden (...)   Re: ldraw.org MOTM & SOTM Winners for January 2002

(...) No, no formal rules. (...) Well... I think Anthony Sava's two dragons are different. Similar, but different. And Cale Leiphart's entries are quite different. Somewhat similar in theme, but only broadly. You could also cite Brad Hamilton's (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

To all PAST winners of of the LDraw.org MOTM or SOTM

Hello to all, Just a short request. In the conversion to the new LDraw.org site format, it occured to me that many of the past winners in the archive could use a little "oomph". What I would like to see is a little more in-depth coverage of your (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)
