Ldraw and Ledit in windows xp?

I just got a new computer for christmas. Unfortuantely it has windows xp on it and won't run many of my old programs, including Ldraw, Ledit, and LeoCad. Has anyone found a way to get these programs to run in xp? (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Proposal: New Parts Category for round parts

(...) Excellent idea. (...) Not bad. What do we do about <part:4032> (Plate 2 x 2 Round)? Is "plate" or "round" most important? I presume that we should stick to the current name and add "round" as an extra category. A similar question concerns (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Connecting 2 .dat models  [DAT]

(...) One solution is to compose a new model file which reads from the two you want to combine. For example, compose a file called "model.dat", with contents like this: 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 file1.dat 1 16 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 file2.dat (...)   Re: Proposal: New Parts Category for round parts

(...) Yes. I'm guessing (based on past experience) that it won't be the next parts update (2002-01), but maybe the one after that (2001-02). But who knows? If we get three part reviewers who decide to work together to change the part names and post (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Connecting 2 .dat models

Heya, I apologize if it was discused before but how can I get (or connect) two different .dat models into one .dat file ? I don't mean importing of multipart files. I need connecting of two .dat files 'cause I need all parts from both sets. Thanks! (...) (23 years ago, 3-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)
