Proposal: New Parts Category for round parts

Hi y'all! Yes, this is Steve, once again geeking on the parts library organization. :) We've currently got a group of parts labeled 'Cylinder'. See (URL) for a list of the parts. But there's a problem: not all of these parts are actually cylinders. (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Re: Castle wall 4444p03 with inverted pattern ??

(...) My first guess would be a printing error. Maybe the print-image was run upside down? Steve (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDGLite colour bug

(...) Hey, someone besides myself is using "-q" antialiased lines. Cool. I did a bit of testing over the holidays to try and improve the "quality" of the antialiased edge lines. Do you think you could try something out for me? I noticed that if I (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDRAW.ORG access?

Thanks. That worked perfectly. I don't know why my ISP would be blocked. Sympatico is probably the 2nd largest ISP in Canada. That's a lot of people being blocked. Very weird. Anyways, thanks again for the help. Play well. Tim Strutt 8^) (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDGLite colour bug

(...) If I remember correctly, we went over the exact same thing about this time last year. I'm curious, is this part of some holiday model that you traditionally bring out around this time every year? (URL) I guess the updated part was never made (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: LDRAW.ORG access?

[ XFUT lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw ] (...) I can connect to your mail service from "ldraw.org" without problems. If you use some kind of Microsoft operating system, then that might explain your problem. There is (afaik) an error in the standard network (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Re: LDRAW crash

(...) Definitely not without information about what you did. Error 216 is likely to be an error in LDraw, and not in a model file. Play well, Jacob (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  LDGLite colour bug

  Re: LDRAW.ORG access?

Maybe you experience the same problem as me: the provider you use is blocked by Ldraw server. Try to use an anonymizer as described here : (URL) I have the same quirk on parts/sets inventory at www.peeron.com/inv, solution is the same. Tell us if (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: LDRAW.ORG access?

Hi Tim, I just tried www.ldraw.org and I can access it ok. Also try: (URL) the download page for windows. Or try: (URL) get the MLCad software directly, but you still need the ldraw parts files I believe, and you miss all the help info on the ldraw (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

  LDRAW.ORG access?

I've been trying for weeks to access ldraw.org, but have never been able to connect online. Any ideas what might be my problem? I'm using Netscape 4.76. Is there a mirror site that I could get the LDRAW software from? Thanks. Play well. Tim Strutt (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.cad)

Re: Blacktron Contest Entry: One Man Shuttle

(...) Haha, that's cool. I was about to submit a base plate with a 1x4 on it as a Category 6, but then someone went and built a base, so that saved me the trouble of rendering one. ~ Tom (23 years ago, 2-Jan-02, to lugnet.build.contests, lugnet.space, lugnet.cad)
