Acurate colours in MLCAD & Pov-Ray

Just recently I was trying to find an old colour for a model that I was building. During my searching I came across Suz's Color Reference: (URL) had all of the colours of current & past LEGO pieces :-) I also found a post by Steve Bliss: (URL) of (...)   Re: Train DAT-files available now!

(...) And by the way, the Tanker .dat is still missing the small technic style steering wheel part. Steve Bliss may have started working on the development of that part, but I'm not sure if he has had any luck. Jake --- Jake McKee AFOL LUGNET Member (...) (...) These 3 parts, as well as many other unofficial parts, are actually accessible from the main LDraw.org page. In the right-most column there is an Off-site link: Temporary Parts Tracker. Just follow the link, the 3 mentioned parts are in the (...) (23 years ago, 9-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)

  Re: Train DAT-files available now!

I downloaded the 10000 series dat files and a few parts are missing from my Lcad program. I ran the recent complete parts file and installed it. The parts still do not show up. How do I locate these files. i.e.: for 10015 tanker car I am missing (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.trains, lugnet.cad.dat.models.sets)

Re: There is no more parts repository

Hello (...) Horse? (...) I don't consider that as a good idea. It doesn't encourage a lot of part authors to mak their parts perfect. If the part is submitted to the tracker it shows that the author of the part is really willing to make it official (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: There is no more parts repository

(...) What is the place for recent parts such as the Fabuland Car Base or the Horse? Everybody will agree that having ALL parts in ONE place is better. One solution could be to extend the submission page with a new "Deposit" button. When this button (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

There is no more parts repository

The Tore Temporary Parts Tracker was a convenient one. It is now superceded by the official LDraw Parts Tracker when it comes to officialization. But Steve Bliss emails me that submitting a mockup or even an unfinished part and voting NO, pointing (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) It's not that hard but could this idea make it easier? When I open a _part_ or a _subpart_ in the PT it saves the temporary copy to C:\WINDOWS\TEMP. If subparts were saved to c:\WINDOWS\TEMP\S then I would not need to _download_, but could (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad)

Hello (...) Yep . right.. sometimes. ;).. Especially when it is a more complicated part with subpart you get rarely a response. And even in the Lugnet parts tracker people sometimes seem to be scared of subparts ;). Greetings Carsten (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.cad)
