Re: The first video showing a datsville building

Thank you for replying. I would probably enter the slope/angle information into POVray code that resembles something more like this: camera { location <1.250000, 6.986278, 4.250000> direction <-0.28939780593, -0.00816663355, -0.95717394352> up (...) (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)

  LDLite 2.3 released.

Version 2.3 of LDLite is now up at: (URL) LDLite 2.3 renders town.mpd correctly. 1) The -W bug is now fixed. -W3 no longer generates 5-wide lines. -W2 and -W3 now generate 3-wide lines. 2) The option "-D1" will suppress bitmap generation in (...) (23 years ago, 4-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: The first video showing a datsville building

(...) What would you use the slope for? camera { location <x,y,z> look_at <x,y,z> } light_source { <x,y,z>, color } light_source { <x,y,z>, color spotlight point_at <x,y,z> } /Lars (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: "Sticker" images

(...) Cool. I will have to hack. I got the rectangular version to work! Axel's post and your hints did the trick. The sticker is scaled a bit smaller than it actually will be or else the rectanglue would go off the edge, but it looks great in the (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  RE: "Sticker" images

(...) You can make the portion outside of the ellipse transparent by defining which color index should be transparent (in the POV image map declaration), or you can change the "clipped_by" to a cylinder instead of a box (might be easier/more (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

  Re: "Sticker" images

(...) Cool, thanks. One thing I just thought of though... the sticker isn't rectangular, it actually would be an ellipse... does that make a difference? (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) I rarely run something else while I'm watching a movie, and I have a 933 MHz comp with 384 RAM, so I haven't noticed any problems. Windows 98, however, eats half my RAM, even when idle... --Bram Bram Lambrecht bram@cwru.edu (URL) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: New Lego Technic avi

(...) Hm, I didn't know such a thing existed. Just as I saw WMP 7 the first time, I just knew that I couldn't live with it. But the next time I need to upgrade some CODECs, I will try the classic skin. BTW, I've heard that WMP 7 is much more (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad)

  A beginning - Lugsville!

Hey, I'm in the process of building a new Datsville-like object. It's called Lugsville (please, if you've already cornered that name, let me know. I'll change it). And, I'd really like to incorporate 3d terrain into the model. So, if anyone knows of (...) (23 years ago, 3-Sep-01, to lugnet.cad.dev)
