On the subject of Hi-Res primitives, I have been developing several lately. Should we have a "new" posting group so that they do not get mistakenly downloaded as "16's". (...) JPEG is a lossy compression format. This means that in order to compress the file size, the JPEG compression algorithm averages boxes of pixels, losing some data along the way. Well, after figuring out how to use L3P & POVRAY, made a 'review' picture of the Castle style MiniFigs I (re)created so far in my quest of recreating the Castleland sets in MLCad. These have the vests/torsos/shields that have been 'skinned' using (...) (23 years ago, 21-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad)

The 'manual' method I follow to create pictures of my MLCad models are: 1. After saving the completed model, quit MLCad. 2. Restart MLCad. The completed model now shows up in the Models list. 3. You can always hit the print screen key on your keyboard, then open a graffics program(like MS Paint), paste in the screenshot, crop out the extra stuff, and then save the file as a .jpg. I just created a model of mine in mlcad. And i want to take pics of it in the program, such as save pictures as in the file menu. The only view it's letting me save as is the 3D view. Is there any way i can save pics as a different view? Thanks a (...) (23 years ago, 20-Jul-01, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

There are (practically no horizontal lines), the end surfaces are missing, so is the single stud on the top and it is offset 10 LDraw units from its proper origin, but it is enough for me at the moment.
