I can't find any of the unoffical parts at LDraw.org. In addition, I'm getting a few requests for non-number when I open the file in MLCad (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Check out this 3D file converter I found: (URL) convert .DAT files, among others, to just about any other format you can think of. There is one limitation, no color support. This is a big pain but for thoce whose have been looking for a converter (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.ray)

(...) Actually, the "dat" I posted IS an mpd file. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear enough. Perhaps that's why you're having so much trouble? Try saving it as "XWING.mpd" If that doesn't work, then please post again, and I'll start posting (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

(...) The rendering window in POVRAY is just showing you what the program is creating. It should create a .bmp file in your LDRAW/MODELS directory. If it isn't there, do a search on your hard drive for *.bmp (every .bmp file). You should find a file (...) (23 years ago, 14-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)

Hi, thanks for replying (and everyone else) i've downloaded L3PAddOn and got nit running and i can see how changing the setting changes the command line produced. However when i run it all i get is a POVRAY file that consists of a header and lots of (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jun-01, to lugnet.cad.ray)
