Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

Hello Paul, "Paul Easter" <pneaster@knoxy.net> schrieb im Newsbeitrag news:G41pEx.ALJ@lugnet.com... (...) Be sure to get the latest version of LDView. Only the old version had a buggy commandline feature... -- Greetings, Carsten Schmitz (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Is it appropriate to post large models here?

Hello, (...) direct-color (...) Hm... from my point of view that doesn't make a real difference. (As you probably know ;) I wrote BMP-2-LDraw32). In some cases you wil get even a bigger file than before because the number from 1-511 (about 300 (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Export command question

(...) Sorry for that, I think I oversaw your posting ... again sorry. Could you please mail the mpd in question? Please send it to mailto:m.lachmann@xpoint.at I will have a look at it. Theoretically there should be no difference at all. Regards, (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

(...) Hmmm, polling is *supposed* to work in l3glite. Do you know which version you tried? The current version supports polling with the -p command line switch, although I haven't tried it lately so perhaps I broke it... Would it be useful to add a (...)   Re: Export command question

(...) Jay, you didn't ask any questions that really required an answer. And even if Micheal had posted a response, it wouldn't have changed your situation at all. You still would have needed a way to get your main .DAT file. BTW, you could have just (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

(...) Hmm. Which version of L3Lab do you have? Lars had to make some changes, so it would listen to LDAO. I've got L3Lab 1.2. (...) Yeah, LDAO uses a couple of temporary files -- one file gets the current DAT code, the other file has a single line, (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

Re: Is it appropriate to post large models here?

(...) Yikes! That is big. From what Todd said before, a one-time posting of a large DAT would be alright. From his POV. That makes me think: is there a BMP2DAT program that uses the direct-color syntax of LDLite & MLCad? Having RGB colors available (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: Export command question

(...) Well, because you haven't answered my question I was forced to download the previous version of MLcad last night. Is it that hard to figure out what went wrong? Greetz, Jay Cal (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

Re: A screenshot for those who ask how I make parts.

(...) No, I do not remember. I just updated LDAO to 2.1.4. By clicking on the Render button, I get a window that tries to run ledit.exe. It errors and gives me a "out of memory error" eh?, ok... in a DOS world... I changed the render button to use (...) (24 years ago, 15-Nov-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)
