  Re: A project suggestion= Let's develop a Theme ourselves....

(...) Ie (...) "Mississippi." (...) Don't get me started with British-scale industry. They made the clearance rate for their railroads too small to handle more sizely loads. They will never see a double-stack (DTTX) container well car, unless it's (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Re: parrot colors

I like it. But there is a small problem with this file and the unpatterned bird. There are 2 lines that have a space between one number and the next (search for 3- to find them). This causes ldlite to give a syntax error and it causes ledit to give (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

guide to the common ledit runtime errors

ledit can sometimes generate runtime errors. the 2 that are most relevent are: runtime error 216 (out of memory I think). This error means that the model or part file that you are trying to load is too large. the other one you will encounter is (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dev)

  Re: A project suggestion= Let's develop a Theme ourselves....

(...) The intercoastal is actually quite large, it extends at least up to Virginia. It definitely has sections which would look like a canal (because in fact, they are canals in the sense of being man made), but don't have any locks that I know of. (...)   Re: A project suggestion= Let's develop a Theme ourselves....

Instead of developing a lock plate with a fixed width, why not create a 'bluff' plate--the equivalent of one of the proposed lock plates, but cut in half lengthwise. A builder could stick any number of flat baseplates between two halves and create (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Re: parrot colors

(...) 2546p01.dat would match existing conventions. IRL the yellow on the beak is a little less extensive than you have modelled, but it is still a very good representation. I don't see the "gap" in L3Lab. Chris (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: A project suggestion= Let's develop a Theme ourselves....

(...) Inland navigable water systems have to have some method of changing level, which usually means locks (there are other methods, but they are less common). Water going downhill tends to get a bit too exciting for reliable passenger or freight (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.general, lugnet.town)

  Re: parrot colors

Franklin, this "gap", is it on the actual parrot and I need to put it in or is it in my file and I need to remove it? I used MLcad and L3Lab to view my file and I do not see it in my file. What did you use to produce the images? Dennis. (...) (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  RE: A project suggestion= Let's develop a Theme ourselves....

(...) Oh sure, we could envision something along the Intercoastal Waterway in Florida. We could have a marina for boats and waterplanes, maybe a hurricane harbour. Hey wait!   Re: parrot colors

(...) Minor nitpick. This specific DAT file should be named "2546p1.dat" (note the "p1" at the end). It's the _un_colorized version that should be named "2546.dat". *Excellent* work, by the way! Bravo! :-) Franklin (24 years ago, 15-Sep-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  parrot colors  [DAT]

Hi all. I have completed the color patterns for the parrot. Since I do not have a parrot, I am working from photos scanned from a lego catalog. Let me know of changes that I need to make.
