  Re: Modified sports hover car

(...) Thanks! (...) Kinda gives it away, doesn't it? I actually think it ended up looking a lot like a GT40 (especially since it's blue) except with Lamborghini doors. (...) I suggest getting L3Lab and setting it as your default .DAT/.MPD viewer. It (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

Re: I need help with my model for kidvention

(...) Sounds to me like you may want to reinstall whatever OS you are currently running. Or you may try to use a more stable OS, if available. (FU: off-topic.geek) Fredrik (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.ray, lugnet.off-topic.geek)

Working on fix for part 2791  [DAT]

i'm working on a fix for part 2791 to code the ridges on the two sloped edges in linetype 4 instead of 2. This should make raytraces look decent. I'm about 15% done so far. can anyone suggest a program which can make this easier? mlcad, although (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.parts)

  Re: Bugs in MLCad V1.9R3

  Re: modelling software

(...) Creator is fun for blowing stuff up but is not really a "design" tool. As Frank B said, LDraw is the standard in the AFOL community, stick with LDraw compatible tools and you won't go far wrong. www.ldraw.org for what's available (all of this (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  Re: modelling software

(...) For LEGO Cad stuff, LDraw is somewhat the standard among AFOLs. I can recommend MLCad if you're working on a windows platform, it's a LDraw compatible program. A lot of info about CAD programs for LEGO can be found at (URL) You can also find (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

  modelling software

Dear all, as a novice to the idea of CAD, does anyone have advice about software to use to design models on computer prior to building them. I am thinking mostly of castles, and my attempts with Lego Creator have been very clunky and timeconsuming (...) (24 years ago, 23-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

7134 A-Wing Fighter - my first ever attempt at using Lego CAD software  [DAT]

Hi, here's my first model in MLCad which took me 4 hours to complete from installing the software. I've been a Lego fan since I was little but only recently started collecting again (now I'm 28!) and my girlfriend has even bought me the RIS and (...)
