Re: Models for Display at Kidvention

(...) Although I won't be lending any of my models, I'd love it if one of you assembled one or more from your own spare parts. I can hopefully supply all the renderings (of my own models) that you want. What's the deadline for renderings? --Bram (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  L3Lab v1.2 20000616

I have also made a new L3Lab, mainly because of a stupid bug in v1.1, where the model was always drawn twice per redraw!! -effectively slowing down rendering to half speed... (L3Lab v1.0 is OK though) I have also added some commandline options for (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad)

  Re: "Sparrow" Scout VTOL

To me this looks like an Autogyro where the forward thrust is generated by the propellor and the upward lift comes from the free-running rotor which is driven by airflow only. So it would be an STOL (Short Take Of and Landing), I think. Nice model (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  L3P v1.2 20000616

My (former) site is closed for renovation, and it seems to take a while, so here is new site (ldraw.org is also updated) and a also new version with a small bug fix: the camera angle defaulted to 1 degree (in stead of 67.38 degrees) resulting in no (...)   Re: Models for Display at Kidvention

(...) If it can be rendered at an angle where its not visible, shouldn't be a problem. We do want to show models complete in LDraw....so having that revealed might be a small problem. But its all in the camera angle :) (...) I would say that we are (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

  Lugnet dat-file browsing

Hy, I wrote a small tool for viewing .dat and .mpd files which integrates fully into the Internet Explorer. It works fine when loading real dat and mpd files, but does not work with Lugnet dat files. The viewer is registered for cgi types already (...) (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

Re: LDraw not to sell CD-ROM at Kidvention in July & Misc CD-ROM issues

(...) Personally, I have never been offended by anyone not typing in their name below the article. After all, the contents of the article is what is important, and the relevant information about the author is (normally) in the headers anyway. (...) (...)   32310 Technic Destroyer Droid Feet  [DAT]

Eelco Kooiker modelized that part in Solidworks with many details. I have simplified that part so the dat file is not too big. 0 Technic Destroyer Droid Feet 0 Name: 32310.dat 0 Author: A.E. (...) Is this command (FOR) actually a DOS compatible batch command, or is it only available on NT (cmd) I'm asking this, because I don't remember a DOS (FOR) batch command, at least with this format. Thanks, for any info. See ya Rui Martins (24 years ago, 16-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)
