  LDraw not to sell CD-ROM at Kidvention in July & Misc CD-ROM issues
 
Greetings I just talked with Heidi Bailey again today, and she informed me that TLC will not be allowing us to sell the CD-ROM at Legoland this summer for the Kidvention. We are allowed to distribute literature about LDraw and of course, hold our (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.announce, lugnet.cad, lugnet.cad.dev.org.ldraw)

Thanks for the pointers. Unfortunately, all the links I tried for L3P failed with a foreign language error message (I think it was an error message anyway). Yes it true .... You'll need: L3P and Povray (L3P is an example there are others as well, but I realy like this one since it's easy to use ...) Make sure they are installed properly then start MLCad. Load your model and select Export from the file (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad.mlcad)

I am getting the feeling that separate programs are needed to generate POV or Raytraced pictures of models created in MLCAD, is this true? This may be a little off topic but I could sure use some help... I don't have a digital camera and take pictures of my lots from partserf and Baylit for my auctions. I can't find a picture of the UFO saucer pieces anywhere. Can someone help me out? (...) (24 years ago, 7-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)

(...) Just for kicks I switched back to using LDraw for generating the catalog images (before I got Leo's awesome program!) and it worked almost perfectly. I say almost because the little pieces were most definitely cropped to include only the (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jun-00, to lugnet.cad)
