(...) There's a kind of trestle bridge inside the torso. It's not large but serves the (probably) crucial purpose of distributing the weight onto the legs. (...) Thanks! The textiles were definitely challenging-- I just meant they aren't closely based on "authentic" models. The trickiest part of the rider was doing the trim on the dress with only two 1x2 orange grilles and a bunch of 1x4 orange plates. (...) I've been working on and off since last October on a camel with rider, dimensions 8"w x 22"l x 30" high. I thought a camel would be a challenge because the legs are so spindly; this is the first piece I've built with a Technic armature (mostly a (...) I met a guy named Lloyd Burchill at SIGGRAPH, he stopped by the LEGO booth and came to the LDraw Birds of a Feather talk held Tuesday. He wrote a Photoshop plugin that takes an image and wraps it around a globe, then 'LEGOizes' it by outputting (...) (21 years ago, 3-Aug-03, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.build.sculpture, lugnet.general)

I looked at this a while back, then saw the one at LLCA, then I decided I'm going to build a building that had tan Domes on the top, with smaller cone sticking out of the top (not gonna say what its for, its a secret), But there were no useable (...)
