Any indication of how extensive the armature is?  I can't even
see where it would be necessary, so any provision you've made
for it is clearly elegantly disguised.

There's a kind of trestle bridge inside the torso. It's not large but serves the
(probably) crucial purpose of distributing the weight onto the legs. Then the
legs each contain a long Technic beam attached to the trestle and pointing
downward to just above the knees. The lower parts of the legs have no Technic,
but do contain some 1x2x5 pieces to add stability to lateral shifts.

(...) Judy- That is absolutely beautiful! The legs look perfect, and I'm sure they're sturdy as well--the intricacy of the patterns is really excellent set against the constantcy of the camel's tone. Any indication of how extensive the armature is? (...) (21 years ago, 5-Aug-03, to lugnet.build.sculpture)
