I make no claim that the clothing and camel rug resemble either Bedouin or
biblical textiles, but they were interesting to build.

The camel will be at Brickfest but I won't, alas....

You mean the lady on top was not as challenging as the camel? She is just
amazing all covered in tiny plates. (Having seen some of your other sculptures I
recall you are pretty good at that.) The back of her head is incredible the way
the shape flows and colors ripple.

The camel: Big chomping square gums, floppy lip, weird bony things.
Sufficiently weird around the head to be, unmistakably, as weird as a camel. (I
have only once inspected a camel.)

This is an incredible sculpture.

(...) Thanks! The textiles were definitely challenging-- I just meant they aren't closely based on "authentic" models. The trickiest part of the rider was doing the trim on the dress with only two 1x2 orange grilles and a bunch of 1x4 orange plates. (...)
