Very nice! Question: How are the sides put together? It looks like there are just stacks of alternating green and white 2x2 bricks, but of course those would be seperate columns that wouldn't stick to the rest. Is there glue involved? This really suprised me because I bought a damaged one with a gaping hole in the side of the box for 60% off--I figured that if I didn't have the parts, then I'd have a lot of Sand green (...) Dude, I have to build these as soon as I buy some more 1x3's on bricklink. I still have the mobius strip. Try making circles of different diameters, and once you have that mastered, try to make a sphere (ball) shape. I think that this is the most important skill (...) Hi all, I completed my first sculpture after doing my Olympic Rings mosaic. It is an eyeball. I'm fairly happy with it, as making spheres proved harder than I anticipated. You know that's my only beef too. Body's a bit square but it does look better in person, so much you wouldn't notice. Also, it's hard to see but the body does taper in the back and there are slopes on the front of the body. Ultimately the body's (...) Mark, man...that's awesome. very non-mecha looking. great to see something different that is done so superbly. very nice. i like the sort of non-artificial look to it. there are alot of humanoid mecha, lots of machine looking, and several animal-ish (...) Eric, I am going to miss seeing the GG take shape over the next six months.. how long was it, exactly, from gestation to creation? Eric, Like Chris, I thought you were headed in a completely different direction when I first saw the GG mech. I'm glad I was wrong! It's finally done! WOW! Truly stunning! The amount of parts used in this model probably rivals that of many collections. The detail level is also quite high, and many parts are very nicely contoured.
