I have a couple of questions the more informed members may know about. Do
builders exchange the smiley face heads from one torso to another? I know
this is a dumb question but the reason I ask involves the purchase at
auction of the Imperial red and blue soldiers. Some of the head
substitutions are downright bizarre, including the Ice Babe head on one fig
and usually new pirate heads but very few smiley face heads.
The other question is who needs the smiley face heads? Are these more
preferable to use in town/railroad MOCs?

| It's probably more a matter of taste and expediency. For example, I've changed the heads on all of my bearded warrant officers for smileys, to turn them into privates. | I exchange heads all the time. In the interests of equal opportunity, I like to have lots of female minifigs, so I am always interested in acquiring more female heads which I can put onto the torsos. I am using the Star Wars minifigs in castle (...) (23 years ago, 12-Apr-01, to lugnet.build.minifigs, lugnet.pirates)
