I was wondering how everyone has been removing paint from the minifgs. Yesterday I took my first stab at it not realizing how well the original paint is adhered to the bodies. During the time I worked as a Copier Tech, 7 years, I learned toner is basically a plastic substance, with other magnetic material conbined. they use about 470 degrees (varies depending on MFG) to fuse the toner to the paper. (...) There's a process which (I believe) uses heat to transfer foil to toner. After making copies at Kinko's onto some trans sticker sheets you may yourself be able to apply some silver foil. I'm planning on using stickers to make some classic Castle "knight" minifigs (belt, silver vest), since for some reason TLC never made them in white or yellow. . .I assume designing the stickers should be easy---scan 'em in and touch 'em up the GIMP (...)
