  Re: 18th Century Howitzer

(...) Very cool! How close in size is it to the standard Lego cannon? -Elroy (18 years ago, 1-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: 18th Century Howitzer

(...) Hi again, I decided to take your idea and make a ships version. I have no idea how authentic it is. (URL) Tim (18 years ago, 1-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

Great work! I posted this over on EB so all the pirate fanatics there can see it. Nice to see a such a 'simple' design. God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (18 years ago, 1-Oct-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.pirates, FTX)

  Re: 18th Century Howitzer

(...) Hi Elroy, This is an excellent cannon. I love simple but effective designs and this one rates highly. Reminds me of some of JoJo's furniture designs. You can build them out of your pieces, but you'd never think of hem. Tim (18 years ago, 30-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  18th Century Howitzer

I was playing around with guns for an American Revolutionary War project that I'm working on when I came up with this. I thought I'd share, since cannon designs seem to be in short supply. (URL) Ideally the gun carriage should all be brown, but I (...) (18 years ago, 30-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.adventurers, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.pirates, FTX) !!

  Re: *Almost* full-size submachine gun

(...) Very neat indeed, exactly how I would think a mini version of the AR15 would look, nice to see one of my all time fav's minified :). Kind of reminds me of the 5.56 Colt Commando. (URL) (18 years ago, 29-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  *Almost* full-size submachine gun

I saw a bunch of life-size guns popping up on brickshelf recently, and decided to give it a try... (URL) actually started out as Han Solo's blaster, but along the way i thought i'd try something bigger and went for one of my favorites, the AR15 As i (...)   Re: T-104 in Tundra Camo

Very nice! I don't think I would even attempt that colour scheme, and you pulled it off wonderfully! The model itself is also beautifully crafted. Keep up the good work. God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (18 years ago, 25-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  Re: More armored vehicles

(...) Thanks Tim, I do like to have space inside the vehicles for the figs. The downside is that it makes them all a little too big scalewise. Building military vehicles for me has been all about balancing scale, aesthetics and functionality. (...) (...) (18 years ago, 23-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: More armored vehicles

Hi Magnus, I love how you manage to get ample space for your figs in these models. It's a really nice touch in such detailed models. They're all great models without it and it just adds that extra touch. I might steal your idea of using the new 4x4 (...) (18 years ago, 22-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  More armored vehicles

Hi all, I'm gradually getting around to up loading pictures of military vehciles I've been building over the past year or so. Here is the most recent batch. I built the Conqueror Main Battle Tank almost a year ago now. It has suspension on its (...) (18 years ago, 22-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc) !

  Re: T-104 in Tundra Camo

Tim, I'm always happy to see other builders venturing into the military theme. Very nice work, indeed. I like how you made the turret look a little rounded through the use of different slopes and wedges. Nice to see a tank done in arctic/mountain (...)   Re: T-104 in Tundra Camo

Very nice, Tim. The color scheme and the nice use of low slopes in the turret give it the perfect "future feel". The renderings are superb as well. The shading evoked an emotional "Anime!" response from me for some reason. ---Will (18 years ago, 21-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, FTX)

  T-104 in Tundra Camo

Hi all, Decided to have a play at tanks. It's far from perfect but I've learnt a lot (thanks Soren and Jas) so my next one should be better. Anyway, this is loosely based on a T-90 but I've tried to make it a little more futuristic so it's a T-104. (...) (18 years ago, 20-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX) !

Mladen, (...) Hey thanks, I'm hoping to get some more pix of that up online some time soon! (...) Check these out, I hope they make the steering and suspension system clear enough.   APC, and IFV and an artillery vehicle

Hello all, After being debuted at BrickFest as part of a battlefielf diorama, I have pix posted of three new armored vehicles. The Wild Boar Armored Personnel Carrier was my attempt at a wheeled APC. To avoid making it look too generic, and to give (...) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Supermarine Spitfire 1:16 scale

(...) Leigh, Wow, where do I start with this! It goes without saying but the detailing here is terrific, and a great example of the possibilities of building in more of a Model Team type scale, rather than good old minifig scale. The Spitfire is a (...) (18 years ago, 1-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)
