Hi all,

I'm gradually getting around to up loading pictures of military vehciles I've
been building over the past year or so. Here is the most recent batch.

I built the Conqueror Main Battle Tank almost a year ago now. It has suspension
on its roadwheels, and space for two men to sit in the turret. It's a little
bigger and bulky looking than would be ideal, but I like its imposing look.

With the Wolverine Anti-Armor Vehicle, I tried my hand at a mountain camo
scheme. This is much smaller than the Conquerer and closer to realistic scale,
but I do lose some functionality as a result. For instance, I wasn't able to fit
in suspension, at least in this original model. I wish LEGO produced 2 brick
wide track, as the narrow track is a little too small and the wide track is a
little too big.  I'm not sure if I'm comletely happy with the look of the front
of the hull, but it works for now.

The Wolf Infantry Fighting Vehicle is basically the Wolverine with a different
turret. Depending on how much equipment the infantry have to bring along with
them, I can fit in 4 to 6 troops in the back.

You may have seen the other vehicles at BrickFest this year, but this one is
brand new!

I had wanted to build a sort of big jeep/Humvee inspired sort of vehicle, and
the Mule FUV (Fighting Utility Vehicle) ended up as more of monstrously large
pickup truck. It ended up so big (equivalent of about 12 foot high) because of
the suspension system (sorry for the blurry pix). As you can see, it has a cover
for the rear storage area that can be attached if need be. With its modular
design, it should be easy to modify with missiles or whatever other
weapons/equipment that may be needed.

Hi Magnus, I love how you manage to get ample space for your figs in these models. It's a really nice touch in such detailed models. They're all great models without it and it just adds that extra touch. I might steal your idea of using the new 4x4 (...) (18 years ago, 22-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)
