I saw a bunch of life-size guns popping up on brickshelf recently, and decided
to give it a try...

it actually started out as Han Solo's blaster, but along the way i thought i'd
try something bigger and went for one of my favorites, the AR15

As i was building and running out of pieces, i decided to make my "own" version-
a variant of the AR that was more designed for CQB, hence the shorter
barrel/guard, fixed short stock, and generally smaller scale

i think it turned out pretty good- still needs some work, but i am very proud of
the priming bolt action and the trigger return spring- all Lego parts (even the
rubber bands) and pretty well hidden

let me know what you think!

thanks

moish

(...) Very neat indeed, exactly how I would think a mini version of the AR15 would look, nice to see one of my all time fav's minified :). Kind of reminds me of the 5.56 Colt Commando. (URL) (18 years ago, 29-Sep-06, to lugnet.build.military)
