(...) What I do is build the general curve around the blocky basis of the hull--you know, a vertically straight horizontal curve. Then I build the curve outward on that. (...) You're absolutely right Joe, the X-29 would translate excellently into Lego. The lines on it are very clean and most of the angles can be easily done with the pieces available.
