Well Kyle, I have messed around with POVray and been able to get some basic
renders of some of my MOCs, but overall I'm not pleased with the quality of
my rendering skills. However, I have been in concact with Anton Raves (go
to www.antonraves.com to see some of his spectacular renders) and he has
kindly offered to render some of my MOCs using his high quality parts, but
due to some problems with my multipart models we have yet been unable to get
one to work out (through no fault of Anton's - My jumbled .dat files are not
quite ready for public consumption). I have promised Anton that I will get
to work on preparing my files so that he can make use of them and I will
probably get around to that once this current flurry of building passes by.
As for ABS, since my meager LEGO collection is not nearly large enough, I
will not be able to actually build these models. However, as you may have
noticed in his post in this topic, Mattias Martensson has indeed built (and
improved) a F-14 of my design, and I'm sure that he will post pictures of
that on brickshelf when they become available.
I will of course work on rendering my models, but I'm afraid that it may
take a while and the overall quality won't be very high.
