Hey everybody, I've posted a small update to my modern military aircraft MOC
collection. It can be seen in total here:
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?m=Bryce2501
The previously unseen models include the J-8 Chinese Inteceptor (most famous
for being the chinese type involved with the collision with a USN EP-3 Elint
aircraft) the X-45 UCAV (possibly the wave of the future as far as Deep
Strike and SEAD missions are concerned) and the F-35A CTOL variant of the
Joint Strike Fighter.
Additionally, I have removed the J-7 from the MiG-21 folder and given it a
folder of its own, as it is a highly modified, independently built variant
of the russian fighter.
Other changes include the addition of different stores options on
preexisting models.
In total I have displayed models for all of my built MOCs. The list is;
- A-10 Warthog in current and Desert Storm colors
- Eurofighter Typhoon in RAF colors
- F-2 Maritime Strike Aircraft in JASDF service and trainer colors
- F-35A CTOL JSF in USAF color
- F-16 C/D and E/F Vipers in various (mainly USAF) colors
- MiG-21 "Fishbed" PMF variant
- Su-27 and Su-35 "Flanker" in PLAAF and RuAF colors
- MiG-29 "Fulcrum" in RuAF colors
- F-7MG in PLAAF colors
- F-8II "Finback" in PLAAF colors
- SH-60 Seahawk B/R versions in JMSDF and USN colors
- F/A-18 SuperHornet E/F/G versions in USN colors
- F-5E Tiger II in ROC colors
- F-14 Tomcat A/A+/B/D versions in various USN and demonstration colors
- UH-60 Blackhawk helo in US Army colors
- HH-60 Nighthawk SAR/SOC helo in lo-viz dark grey
- F-15 Eagle C/E versions in USAF colors
- S-3 Viking A/C versions in various USN colors
- X-45 UCAV in lo-viz dark grey
I have others in various stages of completion (many of them hampered by the
lack of a 2x4 wedge plate .dat), but I am always on the lookout for a new
subject. If anyone has a favorite type that's not on the list, I'd like to
take a crack at it.

| ...while I was waiting for the message authentication e-mail for my previous post, I opend MLCAD and before you know it I was smacked upside the head by the LEGO muse. Therefore my recently completed Mirage 2000 MOC is not included in the update (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

| Bryce, awesome stuff, I didn't realise you had added so many recently! I used to build a fair ammount of warplanes, although they usually weren't modelled n specific real life ones, and know how hard it can be to get them just right. I am quite (...) | (...) These are all absolutely stunning MOCS! I don't know much about jets, but the images fit what I know the real thing to be. I've seen Top Gun (a few times ;) ) and your F14 is dead on. This one is a little obscure, but I would love to see the (...) (23 years ago, 9-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)

| I have just completed an ABS-version of Bryce F-14. Bryce kindly provided me with the dat-file. Pictures of this impressive model are in my non-digital camera and will hopefully be on brickshelf by the end of next week. Bryce F-14 is really a (...) | Hi Bryce, You probably get asked this all the time. I would love to try building one of your models, like the F-18G or the F-15E. I read on this thread that you gave the .dat for your F16 to Mattias Martensson (lucky dog) , so I was wondering what I (...) (23 years ago, 17-May-02, to lugnet.build.military)
