Re: Mini-fig scale F-16 Fighting Falcon

(...) I buy all of my Lego parts on www.bricklink.com. I haven't bought an actual Lego set in years. I just order the parts in the quantities and colors that I need, so I don't accumulate a large inventory of un-used or un-needed parts. Ryan (18 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Re: New WWII planes flying on Brickshelf

(...) Thanks for the heads up on this Mattias. Great to see ZHOD adopting some of your building style. His planes make a welcome addition to the community. Did I miss a discussion on Bryce's B-1? Great models guys. (18 years ago, 26-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

I'm sure you've seen this page, but it should guide you safely through installing everything needed on your computer: (URL) You can use MLCad to build your model and then use LPub to create (...)   Re: F-16N Viper MOC

(...) Hi Magnus, Thanks for the reply. I'm glad that you like my F-16. As I wrote before, when trying to build realistic models with LEGO you always have to compromise, since you simply cannot reproduce all the difficult shapes you'll find on an (...) (...) Oops, I forgot to mention my Flickr page at: (URL) I found this website a couple of weeks ago and I think it is pretty cool because you can upload as many pics as you want for only about $25.00 per year. I plan on posting all of my Lego mocs (...) (18 years ago, 25-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

Because of requests I have received on Bricklink.com and Flickr.com, I am going to be selling my mocs as kits (complete with all parts and instructions) on my website that I am currently creating.   Re: F-16N Viper MOC

(...) Nice plane, Ralph. I know how tough camo is. And the landing gear is especially cool. As a technic-impaired builder, I'd like to learn how you did that. Perhaps closeup photos and a blow-by-blow breakdown of the building process would be (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: F-16N Viper MOC

Ralph, Very nice indeed, and an interesting camo scheme too! It is always interesting to see how different builders approach modeling the same thing in their own way. I do like how you pulled off the landing gear - I always found that challenging (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: F-16N Viper MOC

(...) Hi Tim, Thanks for the reply. I'm not a heavy user of any of the LEGO CAD software. I've dabbled around a bit with LDRAW/MLCAD, but it is not my cup of tea. I might consider 'building' my F-16 with virtual LEGO if I run out of parts or ideas (...) (18 years ago, 24-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: F-16N Viper MOC

(...) Thanks for the compliment. For an IAF aircraft (very much in the news right now) I think I would have to replace the sand-blue with sand-green.   Re: F-16N Viper MOC

Very nice! Great job with the colour scheme, landing gears and nose. You can also call that IAF scheme and put weapons on it. My only suggestion is this part in new dark gray is perfect for the engine exhaust: (URL) (18 years ago, 23-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

New WWII planes flying on Brickshelf

Hi I guess you have seen Zhod's new great collection of WWII planes on Brickshelf. (URL) describes his models here: (URL) are to some part inspired by my models (Spitfire, Bf-109, FW-190 and Mustang) (URL) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military) !

  Re: Three military vehicles

(...) Magnus, These are great, I know I've tried my hand at armored vehicles, and the balance between playability, scale, and functionality is so hard to get just right. You got there just right. The last one also reminds me of the Crusader cannon, (...) (18 years ago, 21-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

(...) I'm glad you like it. (...) I missed the fact that there are two 'figs in the turret. Knowing that, I think you've done an excellent job. Just remember that panels are useful in so many different orientations... Jonesy tought me that. -Duane (18 years ago, 19-Jul-06, to lugnet.build.military)

  Re: Three military vehicles

Duane, Thanks for responding, I'm a big fan of (and very inspired by) your motorized tank! (...) Nice work!   Re: Three military vehicles

Marc, Good to see you online, thanks for your comments! (...)
